25 Years and Going Strong!

The past 25 years have brought both mundane and momentous changes to our lives. Since 1988, we’re moved from vinyl records to CDs to iPods. Medicine has gone from radical surgical procedures to less invasive laparoscopic surgery. Travel, communication and commerce have become easier with the click of a mouse.

thank you for 25 yearsAlso since 1988, Arizona children and families have benefited from a strong ally in Children’s Action Alliance. Twenty-five years ago, a small group of people came together to address problems with the child care standards in our state. Over time, CAA supporters fueled the organization to tackle more issues, increase our influence among decision-makers, and become a stronger voice for children and families.

The children born in 1988 are young adults now. Because of our work together, thousands of these children had health care even when their parents couldn’t get it at work. Thousands of them had wonderful foster parents. Thousands walked a path into the juvenile justice system then got a second chance. Thousands had stronger parents, safer homes, and better places to learn even before they started kindergarten.

We’ve come a long way, but there’s still work to do. Looking ahead, we know more can and should be done to give kids healthy and wonderful childhoods. Please make a special gift in honor of CAA’s 25th anniversary so we can continue to be a voice for children and families.

Thank you!
