A New Addition!
We are happy to announce that Kelley Murphy joins our team today as our new Director of Early Childhood Policy.
Kelley will provide leadership to improve early literacy and strengthen children’s access to quality child care, preschool and home visiting services. Kelley comes to us with a wealth of policy experience, having most recently served as the Bureau Chief in Policy at the Arizona Division of Behavioral Health Services. Prior to that position, Kelley served 4 years as the Senior Health Policy and Program Specialist for Arizona’s early childhood agency, First Things First. In that position she worked at the state and local level for improved health policy for children and partnered with community members to further define and develop the system of early childhood in Arizona.
Besides her considerable experience in policy matters she is a registered nurse and has been the Supervisor for the Healthy Families program in Marion County, Indiana where she taught parenting skills to high risk families in the home setting.
If you’d like to join us in welcoming Kelley to CAA you can send her an email at email@example.com.
