Thanks to the remarkable turnout of volunteers last Friday, we celebrated our 25th anniversary in style with many of you.

Special thanks to Rhonda Anderson, our wonderful Board Chair, who introduced the crowd to CAA and child advocacy. Founding President and CEO, Carol Kamin, who flew in from Massachusetts, gave an inspiring speech with another cherished founder of CAA, Nadine Mathis Basha.Their stories gave us time to reflect upon all the challenges and good work we have faced together.

The event included comments from longtime CAA Board member, Armando Flores, and the debut of four new videos produced for us by Arizona Public Media with real-life stories about the impact of child advocacy.

Our current President and CEO, Dana Wolfe Naimark, made us laugh as we acknowledged the work we have done with you to make Arizona a better place for our children.

And last but, certainly not least, CBS 5’s Catherine Anaya was superb as mistress of ceremonies.

We couldn’t have asked for a better event, nor could we have done it without the generous support of our sponsors, the many local businesses who donated items for our silent auction or the creative talents of the children who donated their artwork.
