The 2025 Children’s Action Alliance Legislative Agenda works to assure the community conditions necessary to allow all Arizona families to have equitable access to high-quality education, health care, child well-being, services, and employment. Health
Children with health coverage are more likely to see a doctor on a regular basis for routine and preventive care and are less likely to have unmet health needs. We fight to ensure families have access to quality, affordable health care when they need it.
Early Childhood
Early childhood education is the foundation that shapes a child’s future. We work to protect those important years by advancing policies that make early investments in children and families to yield better long-term outcomes.
Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice
Children deserve a secure, stable, and supportive family. We promote policies that support communities and families and prevent children from entering child welfare system—including the juvenile justice system.
K-12 Funding & State Budget
CAA envisions a state economy and budget that invests in opportunity for all children and families. Arizona parents and teachers recognize that Arizona’s public education funding crisis has not been resolved. We work to ensure that every child in every classroom has the support, resources, and quality educators they need to be successful.
