New Statewide Trends
The Arizona KIDS COUNT Data Book examines the state of child well-being over the past decade. While important progress has been made in areas like children’s health coverage and reducing teen pregnancy, we have fallen profoundly short in other ways. We have failed to reduce racial and ethnic disparities among children and to eliminate the barriers many of our children face while growing up. When kids do well, Arizona is stronger.
