Help Us Get to 7,562 Letters to Help 7,562 Families

Arizona families are facing a growing child care crisis - and we need your help now.

Children’s Action Alliance is joining partners across the state, including the Arizona Early Childhood Education Association and the Arizona Early Childhood Alliance, in calling on state leaders to make a meaningful investment in child care during ongoing budget negotiations. As of May 22, more than 12,600 Arizona children are on the waitlist for child care assistance. Because of this, families are being forced to make impossible choices between work, caregiving, and financial stability.

Governor Hobbs and the Legislature have proposed $44.8 million for the Child Care Assistance Program, an important step forward - but Arizona families need more. We are urging the Legislature and Governor’s Office to invest $160 million in child care to eliminate the waitlist.

Now is the time to act.

Our collective goal is to send 7,562 letters to Arizona legislators and Governor Hobbs by June 5 - representing the thousands of families currently waiting for child care assistance.

Send a Letter Today to your Legislators and Governor Hobbs

When families can access affordable, reliable child care, children thrive, parents can work, and Arizona’s economy grows stronger. Lawmakers need to hear directly from the people impacted by this crisis.

Thank you for standing with Arizona children and families and helping advocate for the investments our communities need.
